With incredible stage presence, mixing expertise and an almost telepathic ability to read the crowd, Eddie Halliwell is highly regarded as one of the greatest DJ’s of all time. Crossing the musical spectrum with lightning cuts, layers of effects and slick scratches, Eddie harnesses the energy of his sets into the next instalment of the ‘Toolroom Knights’ album series. Featuring 2 exclusive offerings from the man himself and a host of big hitters including Mark Knight, Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, Tommy Trash and Hard Rock Sofa, prepare to get ‘Fired Up’ with ‘Toolroom Knights Mixed by Eddie Halliwell’.
Eddie Halliwell’s mix is a testimony to his DJ style, manipulating the music with his trademark ED-IT’s by creating unique cuts from original tracks and moulding them into entirely new creations. Two of the biggest highlights from the album are without doubt Eddie’s exclusive productions, the first being the cracking ‘Rock This Place’ and the other, his remix of Tiesto & Mark Knight’s ‘Beautiful World’.
Eddie demonstrates his ability to work the dancefloor, with a diverse selection that includes the progressive sounds of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tim Mason and Mark Knight’s remix of ‘You’ve Got The Love’, whilst dropping anthems such as Michael Woods ‘Full Access’ and Nicky Romero’s ‘Generation 303’, all expertly melded together into a seamless mix. Combine this with some slick scratching skills, sample trickery and fast paced cuts, ‘Toolroom Knights Mixed by Eddie Halliwell’ is essential listening for those that like it hard, fast and full of fire!

Fire It Up presents – Eddie Halliwell and Friends
Friday 1st June 2012, Fire It Up and Toolroom Records are ditching traditions for the Queen’s Jubilee this year, swapping the tea for Trouse, biscuits for bass and bunting for beats for an all night dance-fest at the legendary Sankeys, Manchester. A royal line-up has been assembled backed by a full production to celebrate the release of the new ‘Toolroom Knights’ album, mixed by the dance music icon who’s taking the stage for this hugely anticipated event.
The Fire It Up debut at Sankeys last year left revellers in a state of astonishment as the international superstar DJ, who will be returning for this exclusive North West Album Launch event, showcased an unmatched package of dance music, technical wizardry and even his legendary crowd surfing. The return will reach boiling point as one of dance music’s premier parties rolls into town for the 2012 edition on a journey that touches only the finest clubbing destinations on earth.
Toolroom’s presence in house music is nothing short of iconic. The name, brand and associated acts and events are among the finest that dance music has to offer. A day rarely passes that doesn’t see a Toolroom release at the top end of House music charts and with a back catalogue boasting dance music champions including Deadmau5, Mark Knight, Avicii and Wolfgang Gartner just to name but a handful, the collaborative efforts of the two brands can only result in a world class show. The ‘Toolroom Knights” arenas that attract loyal fans by the thousand to the UK’s premier music festivals are as prominent and celebrated as any. A House music fan at any event bearing the Toolroom tag knows they are in safe hands and can be positive of a premier House music experience from the cream of the crop.
EDDIE HALLIWELL will be firing up the main room with his breathtaking ability and endless energy that sends crowds the world over into raptures. The ‘Toolroom Knights’ album series has never been complied by a DJ with the energetic delivery that Eddie guarantees and he will be showcasing works from the Album for all in attendance. The captivating experience of the Eddie Halliwell show is unlike any other. A fan can walk blindfolded into any of Eddie’s performances and identify the maestro in no time at all. His energy and delivery is unique and no other dance music DJ cuts and scratches with the precision and creativity of the Fire It Up top man.
In true Fire It Up form the support is a powerhouse of talent including highly acclaimed Third Party, of Steve Angello’s Size Records, on the back of the release of their new summer anthem “Feel” with Cicada which has stormed the online charts. Adding to the festivities is Fire It Up favourite and guest of Tiesto at the world’s largest nightclub, Privilege, Ibiza. Kryder alike to Eddie is another technology abuser and is not shy of utilising multiple decks and effects racks. Mixmag Ibiza resident D.O.D will join the show continuing the 4 decks are better than 2 theme of the night and lastly, Gatecrasher resident Nick Coulson. Rounding off the line-up in Spektrum & The Bar is “Future Heroes” – Liam Wilson, Pete Bromage, Pete Moby, Sean Grainger, Leo Slater, Mark Fletcher, Jan Carstensen, Yannis Gorak b2b Grant Mizon, Daniel Rostron and Push Continue.
The stage is set for an earth shattering experience of the finest that electronic music has to offer, delivered by dance music royalty on this June’s bank holiday weekend.

International Super Star DJ Eddie Halliwell has just announced a first… A summer residency at Club Papaya, on the party island of Pag, in Croatia! Under his infamous ‘Fire It Up’ brand, Eddie will play five nights supported by Fired Up friends, to be announced soon!
Club Papaya, Croatia’s leading club has seen a meteoric rise over the last few years, not only serving as a spectacular beach club but also as a festival venue, resulting in Papaya being ranked in the top three Mediterranean summer destinations. 2011 saw over 300,000 visitors attending the nine festival parties to hear the likes of the Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk and Fatboy Slim amongst many others. Papaya plans ‘a dream come true summer’ in 2012!
When asked about this new venture, Eddie said “I’m buzzing about this new opportunity. The chance to play weekly in an outdoor arena as the sun comes up, was too good to miss! Having explored the party scene
in Papaya, Croatia, I saw this as an ideal place to grow the Fire It Up brand, whilst at the same time playing to a brand new crowd of clubbers .”
Eddie’s Tuesday night residency will begin in early July and run through to mid August.
If you like big summer parties, hosted by the top DJs on the planet, this is the Croatian “place to be!”
The resort has all day and all night parties with open air events, the best special effects, lighting shows and entertainers, daily pool parties and cheap club entrances and drink prices… 50% lower than other club zones!
To celebrate this new venture, the venue is offering the cheapest club entrance package on the planet ( probably!). A week long festival pass for only £50! This will include entrance to 3 weekly night-time events and the infamous Papaya weekend Festival!
For more details regards the venue, tickets, travel and accommodation check out www.papaya.com.hr and www.eddiehalliwell.com Full details to be announced very soon!

‘Musak’ was originally a hit for Trisco in 2001 when the funk fuelled progressive sounds ruled the roost; now in 2011 Toolroom brings this classic back to life with a set of new remixes ready to dominate the airwaves once more.
On duties are Toolroom favourites Paul Thomas & Sonny Wharton, the people’s choice Eddie Halliwell and the Italian stallions NiCe7. The original mix has also been remastered for a new lease of life!
Paul Thomas & Sonny Wharton showcase their ability to create an effortlessly clean, driving mix that pushes the original arpeggiated bass line to new heights, full of energy and big drops this will be a mainstay in many DJs sets.
The peoples DJ Eddie Halliwell delivers a solid, driving techno inspired remix that will excite his fans and showcase that his productions are going to be as popular as his DJ sets! Completing the package NiCe7 turn in a grooving tech house rework of the original with a funky bass and clever use of the vocal that was often missed in the original, one for the house heads and after party’s is a certain.
Altogether an exciting package that resurrects a classic that will never be forgotten!
